Privacy Policy

Two Player Crossword is operated by Kreyd Labs Ltd, a company in the United Kingdom. This policy explains how the site handles privacy for people who play, create private rooms, or visit public crossword pages.

What We Collect

The game processes the puzzle you open, the letters entered into the grid, room status, completion state, and short technical data needed to run the site. Private room links use room identifiers and browser member keys so the invited player can join without an account.

We do not ask invited players to create an account. The current production site does not include a payment checkout, live analytics provider, or live ad slots.

Cookies And Browser Storage

The current game uses browser storage for essential room recovery, such as remembering the active room and that browser's room member key. This helps a player refresh or return to the same private room.

See the Cookie Policy for the current storage table and the consent gate required before live advertising is enabled.

Google AdSense

We are preparing the site for Google AdSense review. If AdSense is approved and deliberately enabled later, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or similar technologies to serve and measure ads.

Personalized ads for users in the UK, EEA, or Switzerland must be gated by a Google-certified CMP before Google ad tags are called. Until that gate is complete, the site should stay on placeholder ads or non-live verification markup only.

Why We Use Data

We use data to provide the crossword, keep private rooms working, protect the service, debug errors, and understand whether the product is usable. If optional advertising or analytics is introduced later, consent will be used where required by UK privacy rules.

Who Handles Data

Hosting, DNS, deployment, and infrastructure providers may process technical data needed to deliver the site, secure it, and keep logs. If Google AdSense is enabled later, Google and selected ad technology providers may process ad-related data as described in Google's publisher policies and privacy information.

Your Choices

You can clear browser storage in your browser settings to remove room keys stored on your device. If advertising is enabled later, the consent message must let eligible users accept, reject, or manage non-essential advertising choices before personalized ad tags run.

UK users may also have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to certain processing of personal data. You can contact us at privacy@kreydlabs.com.

Complaints

If you are in the UK, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you think your privacy rights have not been handled properly.
