This page explains the cookies and browser storage used by Two Player Crossword. Live advertising tags, payment scripts and tracking pixels are not enabled. Google Analytics and cookie-free Vercel Web Analytics are available only after the analytics choice described below.

Optional Cookie-Free Vercel Web Analytics
Vercel Web Analytics does not create browser cookies or local-storage identifiers. It loads only after Allow analytics is selected and receives page views only for fixed public routes. Query strings, fragments, private rooms, internal pages, puzzle IDs, and custom game events are removed or dropped before sending.
Vercel derives a short-lived anonymous visitor hash from the request for aggregate reporting and discards that visitor session after 24 hours. Rejection or withdrawal stops future Vercel page-view sends as well as Google Analytics measurement.

These cookies may be created only after Allow analytics is selected and only when the production analytics configuration is enabled. No Google tag, request, identifier, event, or denied-consent ping is sent before acceptance, after rejection, or after withdrawal.
Managing Choices
Use Privacy choices in the footer to allow analytics, keep it off, or withdraw. Withdrawal stops future Google and Vercel sends and clears the known _ga cookies for this site. Expired or policy-version stale choices return to undecided before analytics code can load. Global Privacy Control defaults analytics to off unless you later make a deliberate choice.
You can clear browser storage in your browser settings. Clearing room storage may disconnect this browser from an active private room. For more detail about analytics data and your rights, read the Privacy Policy.
Advertising Cookies
The production game is fully ad-free. Its dormant manual-display contract does not load Google code, render ad placeholders, reserve ad frames, or create advertising cookies while the provider switch is off. The analytics choice is separate and is not a certified CMP for Google advertising. Any future activation would require a Google-certified TCF CMP, an updated advertising-cookie table based on the verified live configuration, policy review, report-only CSP evidence, and production network proof.
